Our Mission

Orthopedic Outdoors is about more than hiking trails, gear, or beautiful views.

It is about helping people believe that outdoor freedom may still be possible, even after surgery, pain, injury, weakness, or years of being inactive. We share practical tips, encouragement, and real-life outdoor experiences to help people start small, stay safe, and build confidence again.

For people who want to get outdoors again but feel unsure, nervous, or afraid of overdoing it, falling, or starting in the wrong place.

Fear of Getting Hurt Again

For people coming through long recovery seasons, pain, inactivity, medical setbacks, or the frustration of not being able to do what they used to do.

Recovery and Setbacks

For people who may feel limited by weakness, reduced mobility, balance concerns, or the normal physical changes that come with aging.

Balance, Weakness, or Aging

For people dealing with back, hip, knee, foot, shoulder, or neck problems, including joint replacements, fusions, and other orthopedic surgeries.

Is Orthopedic Outdoors for You?

You do not have to be a serious hiker. You do not have to be fast. You do not have to be young. You just need the desire to take the next step.

You Don’t Have to Start Big

Outdoor freedom does not always begin with a mountain summit.

Sometimes it starts with walking to the mailbox.
Sometimes it starts with standing outside in the sunshine.
Sometimes it starts with a short trail, a campground loop, or a quiet place by the water.

Small steps matter. Progress matters. Confidence matters.

At Orthopedic Outdoors, we believe the goal is not to impress people. The goal is to keep moving toward the life God has given us, one wise step at a time.

Why Orthopedic Outdoors

Helping people reclaim their outdoor freedom.

Orthopedic Outdoors was born from our own journey of recovery and rediscovering the freedom of the outdoors. We've experienced surgeries, setbacks, and the uncertainty that often follows, and we know what it's like to wonder if you'll ever enjoy the outdoors again.

That's why every video we create is designed to encourage, educate, and help people take the next step with confidence—whether it's a walk around the neighborhood or reaching the summit of a favorite trail.

Our hope is simple: to help people reclaim their outdoor freedom while pointing others to the hope we've found through our faith in Jesus Christ.
